I have no clue how to map the MPK Editor so that the pads register in FL 10 with the FPC plugin...tried watching youtube videos and shyt but nothings really helping. Would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction or if they could post a pic of how they set theirs up :sadcam:

If you have not already...

-Install the drivers (cd that came with it)

-Open FL and in the settings, go to the midi devices tab and scan for midi devices and mpk mini should pop up.

-Click enable midi device/controller

i installed the software from the disc it came with, but im unsure what to put for the pads in the software when i open it

It says 'PC#', 'CC#', and stuff like that, idk what to put in there for each pad.

If it is anything like my mpd the install should be simple. Just follow these steps and Make sure your controller is plugged (mpk) in

1. In FL Studio Click the Options menu and select Midi settings- at bottom of screen click RESCAN MIDI DEVICES (you should then see the device pop up in Output)

2. Click on the name of device in output field. click on Set Master Sync button below.

3. Select the Akai device in input field. Click enable. Now you should be able to use your device with any of the sounds within FL studio.

If you do not see your device after step one, you may a driver issue.

Also, in FL studio you do not need to use the software that came with the disk. From my understanding, that is used for stand alone applications (I may be wrong).

FL comes equipped with its own emulation of the mpc. Its called FPC.

To access this, go to the channel menu and select FPC. You will then see a series of pads structured like an mpc (4x4 config)

You can assign your pads on the mpk to correspond with the pads in FPC.

Skip to part 5:10 and follow the instructions on mapping the pads. Then, start the clip over and watch from beginning. He is dropping some knowledge about setting up using FPC. Gotta do it in that order to see it work for you. Hit me up with any other questions!:smugdraper:
