So you're saying he has a weed card that allows him to buy for personal use. But if he's growing and selling it, that's possession with intent to distribute. All it takes is one sale to prove distribution.

The weed card also lets you grow a certain number of plants for yourself.

You should tell your friend to get lawyer if he hasn't already, you'd be surprised at the shyt they can do for you.


I have a question though to add on. If someone is growing at the same house that another person is living in, and the other person is on informal probation but she has a weed card. If the grower gets busted for selling can can the girl on informal probation get in trouble?

California laws are different. I can't answer.
It would be best if she talked to her probation officer, and if it's a problem, she'll need to find another place to live if she can be violated on those grounds.

Told they paid 15,ooo to get him out... He has court this week, charges are I believe for sales... They found it packaged and ready to go.. I'm guessing they have video of transactions.
