Tryna get a new TV for the family room. Trying to decide what to get.

As much as my wallet wants a 65 inch, I feel the room's too big for it, so I'm looking at 75 inch.

Here's what I'm considering and please help me out here

OLED65CX - Only 65 incher I'd consider.
Sony 950H (75 inch)
Sony 900H (75 inch)
Q90T (75 inch)

What am I missing?

Go with OLED imo I have two, people see the tv and fall in love with it, also if you do any gaming at all the CX happens to be one of the best gaming tv's out currently.

OLED 77CX if you gotta have the 75inch.... it's gonna cost you though.

I got the sony, it has amazing picture quality. Excellent black levels, the OS is very nice (android), great viewing angles, good HDR.

The only knock on it is the HDM 2.1 support, including things like the 120hz mode and VRR were supposed to be day one features but still hasn’t been added to the functionality. The 120hz mode is supported but it’s not implemented well and has blurry picture.

They are still saying a firmware update is coming....but if you’re looking for something to give you a full 120 experience now the sony isn’t it.

65 inch is plenty big. I'd take a 65 OLED over a 75 anything else 100%

It really depends on your layout. My ceilings are 11ft high and the wall I want to put it on is about 11ft wide and next to a large window and door. It's not really bright though but the room has decent brightness during the day. Then the viewing distance is about 16ft.

So my dilemma. Will the 65 inch get drowned out based on the sheer size of the room? Will the fact that the room has decent sunlight kill the picture and screen? Then there's the burn in situation.

I'd love to go 77 inches but up here in Canada the price is just too high for my budget with the 13% tax.

I can only comment on what I own, Sony X900H 85" and the Samsung Q90T 55". The Sony really surprised me at the price and picture quality, it does pretty good in a bright room and really shines in a dark room (I have my living room with light blocking curtains for movies and lights are off). Android system works pretty good, menu can be slight pain to navigate sometime. Colors are right on and FALD really helps with the blacks. The Q90T has a great picture as well, my only issue is for 2020 Samsung left some of the high-end features out of their top tier 4K unit (cut down on dimming zones, 2019 Q90R tv's had 480). Other than that picture looks beautiful, menu works smooth and are easy to use, color pop and it is plenty bright for bright or dark rooms.
