Wassup guys. Haven't been on here awhile, took a break from beat making to focus on DJ'ing, and other things. Haven't been as motivated yet... I apologize to the beat battlers I used to be a part of

And I'm thinking about interning at a studio for a couple months now:lupe:

But anyway, I got a quick question, anyone ever recorded for a live band?

If so, what equipment would you suggest??

Would it be easier to just rent out studio time for them?

I appreciate any feedback

You have to consider the instruments in the band before deciding on which gear to go with. You also might want to look at studios that have a live stage like setting, it's different from recording an artist in a booth that stops the reverberation, In most cases when recording a live band you want to record in an area where the natural effect of the room can bounce around. Primarily you also would want to rent out studio time for them.

Some bands just mic their instruments. It's best to research it.
