First thing you should do is build your body up to being able to run 1.5 miles straight. Don't worry about time just worry about completing the distance without stopping. As you are able to complete that distance consistently, then you should start focusing on pace. 1.5 miles in about 10 mins is about 6 minute mile pace so you would want to aim between 3 minutes to 3 minutes 30 seconds for each 800m(splits would be 3.30, 7, 10.30). It's possible to do by May but you are going to have to be committed. Also, I hope this is being done on a track, ideally synthetic.

Yeah but you're talking about dropping a whole 2 mins off your time which is more than just stepping it up.

Do you have any tracks nearby? If you only options are treadmill and asphalt/concrete then stick to treadmill. As much as I hate it, it's going to be a lot easier on your body.

shyt gym is 2 miles away so I’ll be walking to it. And the gym is 3 miles so I’ll have to pick one and walk or Uber to it since I’m with out a car

I’m doing 30 days 5am-8am runs first day 8:30 mile pace. 6th day 7:38 mile pace. Best I can tell you is embrace the pain and know the human body is capable of anything, don’t stop running, up the pace when you feel the need too. I chose landmarks to grind it out as I’m running just to cut time.
