How bad are the rest of the networks rating if the #2 rated channel has to shutdown?

:picard:

Cord cutting and COVID-19 has been brutal for sports networks as a whole. Cable companies are balking at their asking prices to carry stations at those unreasonable prices.

Isn't the PL on Peacock Premium? Tight I had to miss the two biggest derbies(Liverpool-Man Untd & Manchester Derby) because that shyt was on Peacock.:birdman:
The put some games still on NBCSN. But it seems most of the big matches are on Peacock. I think only the Liverpool/Spurs game wasn’t on peacock.

They were never known for anything. At least Premiere League us to death and make that your staple. Maybe get a small MLB package-set of games for the summer months and put some money behind their Tour De France broadcast and go from there. And I know its hard to compete with Sportcenter but I still don't get why either Fox Sports or NBCSports won't try out a highlight show just for the hell of it. It doesn't cost much to produce at all. If it doesn't catch on so be it.. No big deal as it cost nothing to make anyways

I'm glad I get Peacock for free but this is totally a move to try and force people to subscribe to Peacock.

No reason to do this otherwise.
Too many cord cutters too tho. These cable channels aren't getting the money/percentage from each person's cable bill like they used to. Probably not turning a profit on the channel

They did.
The ratings were beyond trash.
