Nah I get what u sying here I was just curious because I feel like melodies go a long way in this day in rap and when u can rap at a good level and sing that puts you over the top IMO... Gates even said it in one of his biggest records “A lyrical songrwriter and he can sing” ... If they didnt have the abolit to sing they would be Young Dolph status (nothing wrong with that) ... surprised to hear YoungBoy has a fanbase in UK , he doesnt have that one big song like Gates to crossover like that although Outside Today is performing well, 2 Phones was huge
