I imagine anyone who actually watches ball has a different take on it. The personalities aren't the same as Lebron, Steph, and the like are iconic whereas the newer gen is not yet attracting folks the same way.
From a game perspective, and as a Bulls fan, I can't get super excited about 45 drive-kicks to 3pt attempts per game. Or a more fun variation of drive-kick-swing-swing-uncontested 3. Teams largely play the same now. Watching highlight videos from any NBA coverage channel on Youtube will have 3-4 back-to-back "highlights" of a swing swing 3, a walk up transition 3, a transition penetration to the paint followed by a kickout to the corners 3, and some variation of a stepback 3.
If you love seeing the ball go up, this era is great. If you like seeing varieties of playstyles, this is not the era to watch, because the unique playstyles are on the losing squads.
