Adding to the list of jargon terms applied to the tech in EA Sports games, NBA Live 14 includes "BounceTek" physics for dribbling, which apparently improves ball physics, instead of merely expressing them as part of the player character's hand motions.

More immediately understandable is the way the basketball game handles roster updates. In-game stats will be tweaked in near real time, "an hour after it happens" according to EA's E3 presentation. From indefinite delays to instant updates! That's a big promise for NBA Live.

I still can't believe how much I didn't want to dislike Elite

I was a lifelong Live guy, 'til the buildings were crushed by 2k11 (still play it, too)

I still remember those Kobe Doin' Work vids having me like

That player update thing might actually catch on if they do it right

I'm tired of playing a basketball game for a full year and having to write on a piece of paper who got traded to what team and spend hours in the menus making changes

Last time my cousin walked past the Playstation while I was doing it and it started skipping before I could save to my memory card

the player update thing isnt hard to do.
the info is IN THE CLOUD. i dont know if you've noticed but the NBA.com site has recently launch a stat section. it was not that crazy before. it use to just be basic stats. now they have all kinds of crazy stats on there and break downs like something an analyst would create. that tells me this stuff is already LINKED, with formulas in place.

in addition, remember the xbox one showing before E3 showed you that sick helper for fantasy sports? well how do you think that thing updated real time like that? the same thing is updating live friends. its in the cloud.

if everyone is connected seamlessly its not hard to pull off. and the fact that xbox is making you be connected and pretty much always online. it will constantly update.

I think homeboy was being sarcastic, talking about his memory card n shyt:deadmanny:

I highly doubt daily instant updates would work and be done long term. Im probably in the minority but give me straight ill ass glitch free realistic bball gameplay and Ill be good, Im over all these add ons these days.
