I recently stumbled across some stuff put out by the the Park Ethnography Program of National Park Service of the U.S. Department of Interior. Just reading through some of the articles on Africans and African Americans; I came away kind of impressed by how straight forward and concise the information was; although many articles seemed pretty brief. In any event here are some of the stuff put out by the program. There are more articles, but these are some of the ones that I have been through at this point.
