They never realized, how real Nas, is so decisive
It's just the likeness, of Isrealites mist, that made me write this
A slight twist, of lime rhyme, be chasin down your prime time
Food for thought or rather mind wine
The Don Juan, features the freak shyt, my thesis
On how we creep quick, fukkin your wife that ain't so secret
It's mandatory - see that p*ssy, they hand it to me
I got no game, it's just some bytches understand my story
There ain't no drama that my nikkas never handle for me
My gator brand is Mauri, walkin through rough land before me
Where the snakes put a smile on they face, hopin and prayin I'm stuck
Scopin they lay in the cut, weighin my luck
Player haters play this in cell blocks and rock stages
Winkin at some females cops with cocked gauges
Really it's papers I'm addicted to, wasn't for rap then I'll be stickin you
The mag inside the triple goose
Face down on the floors, the routine
Don't want hear nobody blow steam, just cream or it's a smoke screen
Imagine that - that's why I hardly kick the braggin raps
I zone, to each his own and this ghetto inhabitant

Its not close really..Nas at 22 >>>

nikkas thinkin shyt sweet, I carry big heat
Wavy hair chipped teeth, up in this bytch deep
Queens murder clicks meet, yellow tapes on black gates
Mediterranean, projects is like Kuwait
I escape into zones, that's irregular
Why debate on a phone, I'm solar cellular
Escobar 600, you just a crumb inside a world
Where the rich run it, curriculum of a mathologist
Deep throats, they try to swallow this
Anthropologists, dynasties of great knowledgists
I preserve in my dome, nikkas mics is full of silicone
Spot's blown, guerilla ice on this killer's life
I put my word on it
Now you can sleep on or rock or swerve on it
Nas is menage a trois' on Mount Aire lodges
We like a smooth fam', but rougher than El DeBarge's
Catchin charges, of marksmen, livin heartless
Grab a cartridge, cock my shyt on some Mobb shyt
We mobbin, puttin nikkas in mausoleums
From Queens cross the Throgs Neck, heads bop, I see 'em

That album mane... That mother fukking album

its shame it caught so much hate when it first dropped. Save for one joint it clearly rivals Illmatic.

That nikka Joe Budden said it best a few months ago.

Nas was "ON ANOTHER LEVEL" (Ross Voice)

People couldnt embrace the change back then..he perfected his art on the album.

That's bull shyt. I swear, your right though. BIG & Rae dropped the same type joints in that time period and didn't catch the flack Esco did.

i mean Nas was rapping out of his mind on that album. its all good though cause history is in his favor on this one.

Even nikkas do back and listen now like :scusthov::ahh: >>>

We knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this in Chicago when it hit....it was like a meteor this way....with internet not as prevalent as it became later, this is what built Nas fanbase in the Chi.....nikkas thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread....then when he brought Kelz to the Cabrini Greens projects for the Street Dreams remix when Kelz wasnt even allowed there:obama::lolbron:
