I was at the barbershop earlier, and dudes said the same. That Nas should get WSG to "curate" his next album and get him on some Griselda production. That's another combo that I think would be really dope. Get Conway and Benny on some tracks with him.

That's NOT happening :francis:

I don't even need Nas to do a whole album like that but it would be nice if he did more features to get on some different production.
He'd sound great over a beat like Tyson vs Ali that's not too grimy and is more like his current vibe.

He did a song with Benny 3 years ago but it's in the vault because it's a chick song and Benny didn't think that's what people wanted to hear from them. Conway been reaching out to him and promising a verse for over a year but nothing happened.

:manny: After hearing this then going back to the KD series I need something sonically better. The beauty of those albums is the combination of how lyrical it is along with really good production. Griselda is still sonically the best doing it now, I wouldn’t mind if Nas uses something like that. Didn’t Dave East get Westside to produce his album?

Gunn just curated the art for Dave's album not the music.

cats gotta stop with this Alchemist shyt. Y’all getting as bad as the “he needs to do a Primo album” cats. Alchemist is dope but y’all need to stop.

Nas don’t need Alc. he don’t need to be chasing the Griselda sound. He don’t need to bring back the illmatic team. He doesn’t need Rick Ross to EP his shyt. He doesn’t need the Magic series to be strictly 90s influenced.

Nas just needs to do what the fukk he wants. You either rock with it or you don’t. If he listened to everyone who didn’t like his shyt he wouldn’t be who he is today and we wouldn’t even have this KD/Magic run at all.

Couldn’t have said it better myself

I've been saying the same for years. Fat Joe said he was trying to get Nas to meet him in the studio when he was there to work on songs for HWH7 with WSG, but Nas couldn't make it. But that type of production is perfect for Nas, so I'm hoping they can get him in there at some point to put some sh*t together.

Nas rapping over a plodding beat with xylophones and Gunn doing Dootdootdoodootdootdoot sounds like a hellscape

Someone earlier in this thread who was complaining about the beats said they couldn’t tell if Bokeem Woodbine is a “dancehall track or not” and I just wanna say no disrespect to anyone but that’s all I need to know about someone’s musical opinions and awareness to say they have some nerve to question anyone else’s production :mjlol:
