Just so I'm clear, you believe that Blueprint 3 is a better album than Life Is Good, correct?

man. :beli: youre gonna chose this lane to stifle my press? of course u turn this into a jay v nas thing. im not interested in that argument. theyll both go down as great as they should.

back to bp3

:beli:

but did u forget what was on that? DOA, Run This Town, Empire State of Mind, alone. that trilogy ran not only hip-hop but commercial airwaves for over a year maybe almost two calendar years. (need i mention ESoM still gets played sporadically)

:beli:

then the second wave came in with Off That, Onto The Next One, and A Star Is Born (the mainstream birth of cole).

:beli:

thats already 6 good hip hop songs. and if u put numbers at more importance, 6 HITS. like for real hits that everybody knew about from the city to the burbs.

:beli:

then we can fill out the gaps with Already Home and So Ambitious, and Reminder :manny: to close it out.

theres really no comparison.

I chose BP3 because not only is it an inferior album, but because you tried to slander Nas for being "40 years old with beats made by 40 years old" yet the incredibly underwhelming Blueprint 3 is one of your favorite albums. I found that interesting

I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion. But then you went ahead and said "Off That" is a good hip hop song :pachaha:. I think we're done here.

Out of the lurking dark to get my feet wet in here. This album is a classic, I've had it on repeat since Wednesday. 19 tracks if you include the itunes bonus and there is only ONE skipper.

"worlds an addiction" :whoo:

Thou shall not be selfish, real nikka commandments, know a billionaire he has everything but a fam guess
How angry this man gets, had so many bad chicks in his bed, strange sex, same sex, has addictions that are sadistic
Chain of events, habits, he puts cocaine on his prick and acts sick
Self-esteem needs boosting alcohol consumption
Nicotine fushion, some athletes juicing
Pastors quote biblical chapters, Psalms
All along he’s into bestiality porn, and it’s wrong, so I keep the Cali weed in the bong
And I'm strong, but the female anatomy got me sprung
And these women need shoes and baddest cars and condos
Fine clothes, and these fiends needs to get high, so they find dough
To mainline dope, and ya'll know

[Hook]

[Verse 3: Nas]
So many vices, habits, round of course, bad chicks
My response to any advice on what is the insidious of life
I'm just rebellious, not selfish, guess we all share different definitions of what wealth is
I need the best things in life thats women, that’s cars
Cigars, in Venice, bottle on ice, that’s priceless
The other night, just in the emergency room
A patient said she needs to see a doctor soon
Doctor busy operating on a lady whos sedated
He can barely concentrate, cause he’s newly separated
His estranged wife likes entertaining her aqcaintence
In the house they were married in, mad people waiting
Some young some old, heads and stomachs aching
Filling out an application, cause they only medication
But the doctor need love or a quick vacation, calling up his travel agent
Same time, premedidating murdering his ex wife
Life, savage ain't it
Some need xanax, just to maintain it
We all need faith cause the world keep changing
Let go of the illusion, start some restrainin

POETRY :wow:

cherry wine is probably one of the most amazing songs ive heard in a long time. i had no idea just how strong amy winehouse's voice was until that song.

Got to be honest No Introduction is the worse opening track on a Nas solo I ever heard. Justice League dropped a snoozer of a beat and it just doesnt work. No Hook and all the track sounds too long for an intro and doesnt really set the album right for how dope it is. When you play an album you want that first track to be blazing this isnt in the top 10 dope tracks on the album.

Its a shame to, cause I really thought JL was gonna give Nas a heater. I was looking forward to this and the 40 produced track the most on here and it was a huge disappointment.

no introduction is the number 1 favorite song on the album. different strokes for different folks i guess. this album has a lil sumthing for everyone. some songs we love, some songs we disagree on.
