If Miles is the best at his genre and Nas is the best at his, why cant he be the Miles of hip hop? Of course musically Nas is nowhere near Miles.

And no, Nas is not the best at his genre. Nas has just put out a great album. That doesn't mean he always puts out great albums, nor does it mean he's constantly reinventing himself. The success of this album comes from him looking to the past.
