thought the tracklist was out or sumn when thread had 8 pages extra but it seems speculation about features is thr cause

although not needed i wouldnt rule out Em finally doing something with NaS. their styles dont mesh like that but im pretty sure he was wanted on a daughers version but turned it down due to having said too much on the subject already, which I think is fair.

Possibly too late in their career (Em's) it would still be a huge collabo as Slim is still a legendary figure in the game overall.

i know Ziggy would "love" it :russ:

I def feel like Hov is more accessible in the sense that he's going to go to dinner with you, show up at the studio to hear some music, invite artists to meetings etc. Part of that is his job - he's in chart of a label essentially, of course he's gonna be up on new shyt. But part is also personality. He's a hustler who wants to be in the mix, in the game, etc. Nas has always been more to himself and aloof. Some people take that as disrespect. Sometimes it leads to opportunities not happening. Nas working with Cole on more tracks would have made sense, especially post-Born Sinner. This isn't a criticism because hell I'm the same way in real life lol.

Hov has worked with each member of the new "big three" (Drake, Cole, Kendrick). Ironically each of them have given Nas glowing praise. Drake even got him a songwriting credit on Scorpion when he didn't have to. Will Nas work with them...we will see. No one will agree with me but I think musically the best fit would be Nas with Drake. Some straight up stunting on nikkas music, some bars for the hoes, over that typical OVO production (hard drums and moody 90s r&b samples)....it makes perfect sense.
:hubie:
Drake X Nas on some 40 production would be insane. That is a collab we need. But maybe hitboy was able to pull off the Nas X Kendrick. We will see soon.

It's not that deep. It was cause Nas was making an album with Kanye and Cole and Kanye was beefing. Cole lame ass even @NaS on Twitter when Kanye had that meltdown on TMZ
Ahhh, makes sense, I knew something had to already have him in his feelings...he went too far tho, hoe shyt.

I initially said Drizzy or Hov shouldve been a feature on 27 Summers. As far as them other nikkas. All that shyt be their fault cause they be on some weird shyt.

I think that be the biggest heart break for these rap groupies. They feel nas is about to be their best friend and when they realize he’s not, then they act like girls. Cormega be the first to show that. Look at him now… loving this friendship. Let nas curve him again and see what happens. And it don’t even be curving. He just don’t be on that type of time with people especially in the industry.

Hell at LEAST Mega could say he legitimately knew Nas growing up. Plus Mega admitted he was immature and upset at the way his career had stalled at the time

These other nikkas don’t even KNOW Nas like that. I never understood why some of these rap nikkas feel like Nas owed them a conversation, let alone a feature. The only other rapper that gets this kind of vitriol is Hov, and its nowhere NEAR the personal animosity Nas has dealt with.

Nashawn of all people said it best. “Even if he never speaks to you again, Nas has given me and others an opportunity to get out the hood. Feed our families, and see the world. Why would I ever have beef with him?”

Nah it’s not like he left him on read cause he asked to a do a project. The nikka asked him to do a collab concept album about Amy Winehouse. I’m like the nikka is either weird or slow bro. Lol. Why would he even ask Nas some shyt like that?

Bro I know you said that before and I swear on GOD I didn’t hear Lupe say that crazy shyt. I only heard him say he asked Nas to do an EP and Nas never responded.

Thats just a weird pitch in itself. Like I could see if it were somebody like Salaam Remi, who knew Amy PERSONALLY and was the one who introduced Nas to Amy. But a random rap nikka:wtf: I know Lupe is intelligent so i’d hope that maybe he’d pitch it better than you’re making it sound because it just sounds like an off the wall concept. Even for somebody like Lupe, who can write a conceptual song in his sleep, what could have been going through his head when he texted Nas that shyt?

Nas was “supposed” to do collab albums with AZ, Common, and Mobb Deep. Projects that never panned out, and yet Lupe thought to himself “THIS is the idea that’ll get him! We’ll do a project based on Nas’s DEAD FRIEND who I NEVER MET:krs:!!”

That shyt sounds bizarre just typing it

I was just listening to a old Lupe live and he said his "Skulls" album was originally a concept album about Basquiat...but he ended up changing it, that's why it didn't drop yet. He probably dubbed it when Nas curved his Amy Winehouse concept album idea, lol.

Nas probably did to Cole what he does to everyone seemingly and curved him, lol. They probably had a convo and Cole thought he had a new friend or sumn and wanted the collab...never got a call/text back. It has to be something that made him speak about that Nas situation like that after only hearing one side...the angry woman who wants more money and full custody's side. Cole will forever be a hoe for that...and I fux with him as a rapper

J. Cole’s Off-Season Has Several Cryptic References To Illmatic

:comeon:

Nah breh Nas has shown J.Cole more love than ANY Rapper of the new generation. He mentioned Cole SEVERAL times as one to watch for in between his first and second albums. He knew about Let Nas Down before it even came out because Cole let him hear it when they shared a flight together. Cole presented Nas with a special Vibe award

And Nas returned the favor by appearing with J.Cole on a Vibe magazine cover

Nas has NEVER appeared on a magazine cover with a new artist.

He of course remixed the Let Nas Down and let Cole know he was proud of him.

Nas has shown Cole more love publicly than he did the fukking Bravehearts and Cole threw him
Under the bus. shyt is unforgivable
