If they released the original intended album it would have been a double album on par with LAD, All Eyez on Me and Wu Tang Forever.

Eh dunno about that. Those albums, especially LAD and AEOD were waves of hit after hit, nonstop bangers. Many of the songs we know were on the og I Am were more introspective. I'd have to see the alleged tracklisting again but I remember once seeing it here and thinking some might have said it was too conceptual and not enough bangers. It wouldn't have Hate Me Now. Would it have Nas Is Like? I don't remember.

would have been a great fukking album regardless tho

This is one of my favorite Nas songs. It's a shame they buried it on the QB compilation because it should have been on I Am.

Yup, great track.

For me the main reason being this -
The theme is about finding your "voice" or "talent" To me that's essential in life and I always tell people to go for their dreams.

Go for yours!

The OG Double Album would have had both Hate Me Now and Nas Is Like. Hate Me Now was always going to be a single according to Steve Stoute

But it wasn't recorded at the time right? I thought that was recorded after the initial album was scrapped.
