Royce is in my top 5 but F*CK ROYCE respectfully, even ROYCE would tell Preme to finish up the project with Nas first, foh :snoop:

And like someone said earlier, Preme had to know eventually Nas would come around to do an album, should've def had 30 beats on deck ready but Premo is known to do beats right on the spot with the artist, he hardly has anything ready for anyone

Nas told Premo directly in like 2015 that when he left Def Jam they were going to do the album and go on tour. Thats when I KNEW that it was going to happen eventually, no matter the length of years it took.

I think its best that Preme and Nas cook from scratch instead of going through pre-made betas. Judging from Nas work with Hit-Boy, he likes working hand in hand with the producer. Hell the reason Preme didn’t make it on several Nas albums including Hip Hop Is Dead and Untitled was because he wasn’t on hand to be in the studio with Nas.

I assume Nas and Preme worked in the studio for this album, especially since Nas has obviously spit his verses to some beats. I highly doubt he gave him acapellas. I guess Preme is adding more scratches and loops? Maybe they are waiting on engineering to clean things up. Who knows?
