If Premier's able to tap into that same energy he had when he made One of the Best Yet, I think this will be a really good album. I wonder if Pete and Q-Tip were inspired by that album when they listened to it.
Anyway, do you have any information on what happened with Nasir? Kanye said for years that it was his dream to produce a Nas album and he treated it like an English paper that was due the next day. From my understanding, the album was made in a week, and some of the beats were produced after Nas recorded the songs, so that's why he sounds "off" at times. I remember the album not even being finished when it came out, because I didn't listen to it until Saturday. And the release party had multiple songs that weren't even mixed properly.
I know this was in the middle of Kanye's mental decline, but how do you give yourself months to work with Pusha T and Nas, your dream collaboration, only gets a week?
