Ain't those same Phantom Stock sounds all over beats from the 2000s?

Always loved this song. There's so many similarities to the Jay-Z "Hollywood" song on Kingdom Come. Jay spoke on the bright lights of stardom while Nas spoke on the dark side of stardom.

Liked this back then in 2006. It's beat is pretty cheesy, but it has a certain kind of appeal for that time in Nas career.

The production can't channel the tension or darkness of his best work in storytelling. Like Undying Love, Blaze a 50, shyt like that. but it was a high porint on that album.
