I know how you feel i love naruto i watched that shyt debut in japan before it even hit the states. The first half of naruto was GODLY then shippuden came out it wasn't as good ya it has some great moments but man the pacing was bad and storytelling wasn't as good to me imo

Now we got this WAR that doesn't even feel like a WAR. Where are the DEAD BODIES of some serious characters that ain't no damn WAR. I got some people can't be touch but come on man how can you take the war SERIOUS THOUGH.

It's a big commitment if you're just starting off.

600+ Chapters and 500+ Episodes.

I'd start off with the anime, the style might take some getting used too but IF you get hooked you'll breeze through them quickly.

Plus this story could go on for another 5-10 years without falling off or getting repetitive that's how quality it is.

Manga. The anime has some truly great music but the animation and pacing can be kinda frustrating. They also butchered one of the most important arcs in the series. Plus it's just quicker to read the manga.

Def. worth a read. Art style very over the top but fits the series incredibly well. Not always fantastic but is generally consistently good and its peaks are incredibly high. Never get the feeling that characters are being left out of the story. Really creative and well done world.
