Good that he cleared the air, but this isn't really news to alot of people who really follow this saga.

All of that nonsense about Trevon whispering in his ear and Pac asking Orlando "You from the South?" before sucker punching him is just urban legend built up over the years and told to deepen the mystique of Tupac.

There's nothing odd about telling a group of friends you're with that another person in the area is somebody you got or had a beef with. Pac was amped up over watching Tyson just beat the brakes off Bruce Seldon and saw a chance to try and impress his gangster homies who lived that life on a daily.

Well first and foremost, and no disrespect to the dead, but I don't consider Frank Alexander to be a reliable source when relaying information due to some pretty questionable claims he's made and his mental health following Pac's death. He wasn't well in the head (which led to him comitting suicide).

Also, Trevon has vehemently denied the accepted narrative. You could argue he denies saying it to paint himself in a better light, and I suppose that's a fair rebuttal. But the idea of a Trevon singling out Tupac of all people to tell him that Orlando was in the area when Pac didn't even know him seems pretty silly to me.

That "You from the south?" shyt is definitely urban legend though. Nobody had ever been quoted as the source of it when it just suddenly appeared in an article out of thin air.

Pac was super loyal to a fault. Wasn’t a gang thing or trying to show out for Suge.

Fatal mistake by him. Dude was a genius and proof that one dumb thing can ruin everything. And shame on his crew and security for not physically detouring him the second he started going in that direction.

Even if he got upset about them interfering — at least he’s alive. He’s not gonna throw you outta the crew for that.

It was a dumb, fatal mistake on Pac’s part but it wasn’t to “impress his gangster homies”. Pac BEEN getting into fights way before he was at DR and even Kurupt who rolls with 60 crips said that they respected him because he held his own against the 60s and he and Treach got into it with them which was before Death Row. Did Pac fight all of them 60s to impress Treach? Or to impress the 60s? Who was he trying to impress when he was trying to fight the Milwaukee BDs?

Pac had temper and anger issues which led to his untimely death but to twist it like he was trying to impress the bloods he was with is that sneak hate. And yes, he lived that life on a daily basis too - not gangbanging per se but a life mired in a lot of violence nonetheless.

Why can't the answer to all of the above questions be as simple as.......BOTH?

I've always said Pac had anger management issues and got into numerous reckless fights. That's not in dispute.

But you're also taking the ridiculous position that a person (any person) with an impulsive behavior and is prone to fighting can't also be pretentious.

Nobody is "sneak hating" on Pac. I'm a Pac fan my damn self, but I can see his life and music for what it is because I don't look at him through rose colored glasses like a large portion of his fanbase does.

That's why you always hear a certain segment of Pac fans say shyt like, "Pac wasn't gangbanging, he was repping Death Row and his homies, that's why he rushed Orlando". As if it can't be true (like I've been saying for years) that alot of Death Row business was indistinguishable from gang business and politics.

For a genius like Pac, why is it inconceivable for you to believe that he could walk and chew gum at the same time? It's all perception obviously, but you and others like you end up talking yourselves in circles with these arguments. In your own words you say he lived a life mired in day to day violence and was prone to violence, but he wasn't involved in gang violence.

Even though the very people he lived that life with on a day to day basis were gangsters :dahell:.

Yet you act bewildered that somebody would consider that type of behavior to be gang banging, when COMMITTING VIOLENT ACTS WITH OTHER GANG MEMBERS IS THE LITERAL DEFINITION OF GANG BANGING
