Let's not get carried away with the Biden blame. Everyone was pushing Biden to endorse Kamala. Why lie? Any blame on Biden should focus on the party enabling him to run again. 2022 (midterms) was the time for Biden to announce he wouldn't seek reelection.

this kinda seems like a lie tbh :patrice: i don't believe her

biden and kamala have never really liked each other, ever since she shyt on him in the debate. he chose her for identity reasons (which failed :beli:). biden never thought she was some kind of great politician to follow him up

and i DEFINITELY don't remember biden immediately endorsing kamala, we were having the primary conversation, yeah, this bytch is lying :mjlol:

Biden did endorse Harris immediately. Because it was an internal war that Biden and the Clintons won. The Clintons got behind Harris immediately and did not want a open primary. The rich donors, Obama and Pelosi wanted an open primary. But once Biden endorsed, Obama fell in line and endorsed Harris a few days later.

My personal opinion is that the only reason Biden endorsed Harris was to stick to the rich donors, Obama and Pelosi. Plus, since Harris was the running mate, Harris was the only person in the Democrat party that could have inherited the money from the Biden campaign. Anyone else would have had to start from scratch financially.

That would have been tough to have an open primary. How long would that have been? 4 weeks? 6 weeks? How is that enough time to do a primary? How does that candidate have enough time to run an effective campaign after the primary while trying to keep the party together?

it never should have been an open primary. it should have taken place behind closed doors, let a few Dems make their case, let the party pick

then they come out and say "you know what, everyone saw the debate. joe is too old to win this thing. we made the best possible decision, given the lack of time, and given the circumstances, to stop donald trump". there would have been no "revolt", people would have said fukk it, they're right, it was what we had to do

the DNC already selected the candidate in 2016. don't tell me they couldn't have done it again :mjlol:
