My Wife & Kids and Everybody Hates Chris held it down for Black TV in the 2000's

me and the wifey was watching old shows and man.....it's wild to think these was the only two shows (outside of girlfriends) that was holding it down in the 00's.

I was always a fan of My Wife and Kids, and I consider it a classic, I never really gave EHC that much of a chance cause the young breh who plays Chris reminded me of my annoying ass cousin, no diss to the breh.

But man, watching EHC, well rewatching, I really enjoyed the overall show. Shame it seems almost took a backseat.

Both of them shows have aged like the finest of wine imo. If I had to rank my personal top 5

Everybody hates Chris is an absolute classic. I’m not the biggest Chris Rock fan and I’m glad he’s not in many episodes but that shyt is funny. I am currently re-watching it on Hulu.
