This era of TV was great. 2001-2007
My Wife and Kids, George Lopez, Life According to Jim all on at the same time while King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond were peaking. UPN had a few shows after Moesha (should've had more seasons). Simpsons had a 2nd wind. Married... with Children re-runs. It was one of the golden eras of TV to me.
Then I don't know what happened. They all stopped at the same time, I know it's because some of the cast members tried to go into movies. Youtube?
To bring the feeling back every now and then I'll watch an episode of these once a week.
That Japanese restaurant episode, when the power went out or when Junior and his girl (Meagan Goode) got busy in their bedroom
Another thing that was great about My Wife and Kids was the longterm plot lines. Like they'd do something and make a reference to it like 3 episodes later "Didn't I tell you..." or "Didn't you learn that..." and it'd still be a factor for the rest of the season(s).
