His name is Hailu Mergia and he was a major player in the Ethiopian big band scene from the 60s to the 70s when he got asylum here from the military junta. He just did some shows in Europe not too long ago after being retired from performing for several years and he's getting ready to do a show in Brooklyn tomorrow night. Peep:

Cuz grew up a Nas stan tho that's where he gets it from but he been gettin more into Pac lately since he started rappin. That nikka grew up in Uptown around KDY so he an actual Washingtonian unlike Wale. Plus he got an interesting family background so he imo got a chance to make it cuz he got a lot to talk about. On the low, he was the one that started the beef between Trel and Wale over twitter on accident.

Yeah I remember that shyt. He was reppin Landover or some shyt, that Uptown Roamers joint was prolly the only joint I fukked with enough to download. But yeah, not to cyse but I consider my cousin the best in the underground scene here I've been to enough shows to see that everybody tryna sweat everybody but my cuz actually on his own shyt. Good look on the support tho yung, he need all he can get. lol, I'm just like you tho I ain't dabble enough times to make it a habit. btw, I found that og version.
