well from what I picked up..
The film itself is a film..
The kids are out to make a movie or "documentary".. which they sort of beat you over the head with if you pay attention.. what we seen on screen is a result of that. they both have cameras throughout the film, its almost as if theyre actually shooting their own versions of the flick which explains the constant changes in the films atmosphere (when the girls filming its dramatic, when the boys filming its hilarious ).. the final result is what they edited together (girl is seen on screen editing shyt the entire movie while the boy films her)
soo yeah, its all fake.. acted.. a movie. notice theres even two endings.. one with the dramatic ass tear worthy speech from their mom/girl talkin about her dad dipping.. and then one with the boy rapping..
The kids little rap at the end kinda sealed it to me.. his first bar was "so we set out to make a movie" ... I mean I could definitely be talkin outta my ass right now but keep in mind, Its fukkin M Knight..
and its been said even before its release that M Knight shot two versions of this film, one as a comedy and one as a horror film. the end result was a mixture of the two edited together.. So it would make sense that the film itself is the children doing exactly what he did.. good shyt.. kinda wanna watch it again just to see what i catch
