I started this gangsta sh-
It released on the 1st of January so its been out for a day or two. My print copy hasn't even arrived in the mail yet.
I'm posting this in the root cause its specifically about a young African-American girl that is being abused in foster care... So she starts killing off her abusers, one by one.
Kinda like a young Dexter.
(If there is a better place to put it, a mod can feel free to move it...)
< my mom, Charm Baker
Her first book was a science fiction novel about a tyc00n that owns this island but he won't build huge resorts or other tourist things on it for some reason, then a group of teenagers discover he has caught a mermaid near the island so he is holding it captive doing weird experiments on it and trying to get it to reveal where the other mermaids are...
A good fun read, but this new book touches more on real life social issues and the black community.
Drug use, child abuse, neglect, etc.
Anyway, Its on Amazon (in print or on kindle) http://amzn.to/2giOLmx
Please give it a look if you can. Much appreciated.

I only have a proof copy so far, this is what it looks like though, just with a bar code and serial number on the back.
