Nice ass house, nice ass car, stays g'd up with the clothing, ect. Mom's is a legend in my book. I wouldn't be in the position I am in if I didn't see my mom's come from the bottom to the top. Michigan State grad, started college at 16, became best friends with Magic Johnson in college, then got caught up in the lifestyle of Maserati Rick. If it wasn't for the crack epidemic, my mom's would really be rolling right now.

I'm just glad this shyt has been a thing for this long, no relapses and no shyt in the early of the recovery.

Anybody else came up like this and dealing with anything similar?

25 years is a long time. That's a Strong woman. Congratulations to her. As a kid I used to have a negative opinion of addicts and recovering addicts because my mom's sister was an addict and she was a piece of shyt. I got older and met a guy who was also a recovering addict and the struggles he went through to become and remain clean, and it changed my whole outlook on recovery. My mother's sister is still a piece of shyt. Massive. But my heart goes out to anyone that wants to change their lives for the better and those that have done it and managed ifmt for some time
