used elements of the original track like the drums, flutes and some strings but felt the original was too light hearted. meth sounds best over that dark depressing shyt, it brought the lyrics out more from the original "funkier" version. sounds menacing to me now. still a lil chunky but with this storm throwing shyt haywire i didnt have time to finish. shout out to staten island my homeland this is for my spaghetti sauced up guinea t wearin dudes homeless right now. peace to the old neighborhood
ran drums through akai s950 for warmth, pitched up flutes, cut up strings and replayed them with my own sets of keys and bass (chopped bass up too). this is my first time remixing vocals with a new beat and def my first time taking elemts of a beat and totally flippin em so lemme know what yall think. im sure mixing is off but so was early wutang shyt. lemme know what yall think please. i didnt get a chance to slide it over to my crew for additions in time but ayoooo... check it
