My Internet Service Provider Emailed Me About My Downloading Activity :(

Wattup ya'll....
So I never use torrents, but these days you can't always find TV shows via links or streams.
So I used a torrent just twice, once to download a season of Supernatural and then a the second half of last season of S.H.I.E.L.D

So then after supernatural my ISP emails me about my internet activity saying Warner Bros copyright material was stolen by me and DISTRIBUTED by me and I need to stop.

I was like dayummm....
Then I thought I smartened up... and I had to download the second half of last season's Agent SHIELD but what I did this was was:
1) Set upload limit of entire folder to only 1kb a second, with unlimited or download.
2) Stopped seeing as soon as the download finished, I mean Immediately without a second`s delay.

I must have uploaded via the torrent client just 1MB or 2MB.
Still.. I got that email too about Agent SHIELD this time.

I was like Dayumm.... they looking for even that small amount of uploading

I guess i`ll never use torrents again, even though I never did already but I didn`t know it was this bad.

A Virtual Private Network. From what I understand you keep your current ISP but you hook up it up to connect to the VPN so that when someone sees your IP address it will display the VPN address instead.

A VPN creates a tunnel to another network, usually a company network.
Like when I work from home I VPN to work so I can access files on the company network while not at the office.

So it connects to my company network, so my question to you is.... what are you connecting to?
For me, it`s a vpn to my company network
for you, it will be a VPN to what or who`s network?
