I personally dont think having classic fights is the requirement for a classic shonen, and when you mean dull is it because the show doesnt have long drawn out fights or because they are boring? I found the All Might/Creature fight at the end of season 1 great.

Actually it is, this ain’t seinen the target demographic is different. And I agree OP I personally think MHA is overrated and bothers on trash sometimes. People want feels from a Shonen watch the earlier OP episodes, that show managed to make me feel for a fukking boat.:gucci:

I don't mean dull in the sense of their length, they don't have to be drawn out to be great. I mean the choreography of the fights themselves. MHA is a good anime regardless of that but a lot of people are calling it the successor to Naruto, DBZ, and etc. All of those shows had amazing fights :ld:

The stain fights were very memorable for me so idk wat u talking bout breh. Plus the all might fight with the monster. Only thing i can think, is that u mean they arent long fights. If these fights are dull with all the strategy that goes into them and ppl pushing their limits to win/survive than u might as well not watch it. I'd rather have a fight like the one between midoriya and the dude that killed the lil boys parents than most of the naruto fights.

I feel ppl who do that are just searching for a good shonen as there havent been many goods ones since the 90s (nostagia may play a factor as well) but MHA I feel does deserve the praise it gets since the middle portion of the season 1, the series has been money and has delivered as it goes.

Back to the original post, I feel the final battle of s1 and the tourney fights were good stuff

funny you say that as I found the beginning of OP somewhat contrived and forced emotions
