How would we know if we don't know what schools you have been accepted to.

I went to school out of state mostly because I didn't get into all the good schools in my state (CA). These included cal, stanford, ucla, usc, so I said fukk it and went out of state.

If applications fees aren't an issue then apply to some private schools out of state. You may be able to get scholarships/grants. I went out of state bc the financial aid package made it cheaper than staying in state.

if you cant get accepted to prestigious schools out of state, then you should just stay in state and save money

if you can get into prestigious schools, then by all means go for that. it will probably pay off.

I went out of state but after my 2nd year I was able to get in-state. Pell grants covered 100% of my in-state tuition. :blessed:

At this point you're probably trying to get done as soon as possible so moving some place and working for a year to gain in-state is probably not an option. You might as well tough it out for 2 more years. Your dislike for your state may serve as motivation to finish up too.

Went In-State, basically to save money, and because I had connections there. :manny:

Personally I'd only go out of state if it's a REALLY good school, otherwise it's probably not worth the extra bank.

i went out of state on full scholarship

otherwise, i would've stayed in state and finished asap

but like others have said: do some applications to test the waters
