Heres the deal:
i had a cancerous tumor in my testicle that was removed around a month ago as i posted a thread about it , and now i have just got my PET scan results back and it shows no activity in my lymphnodes,but the scan can be wrong and just didnt detect the small traces of the cancer...
anyways...even if there is no cancer in the lymphnodes, there is still a 20 % chance the cancer can reoccur because of a "Lymphovascular invasion" so my options are as follows:
1. one dose of chemotherapy that will 98% prevent a cancer from coming back and kill any remaining cancer cells
2. Radiation therapy
3. Wait and see, and do scans every couple of months to check if anything comes back
if i do chemo or radiation i can get other cancers and diseases in the near future..like leukemia .
so i can just do the 1 dose of chemo right now and be done with it and hope for no 2nd cancer
or wait and see..and if it spreads to the lympnodes..i gotta do 3 doses of chemo or more radiation than i would have needed
hard decision...what you u guys do if it was you?
