I struggle like this sometimes whether i'm with other Twi-speaking ghanaians. My family is one of the minority tribes(dagomba) from the Muslim north so i grew up speaking Hausa perfectly with family and only started learning Twi next outside the home, and of course English at school.

Nowadays i have a tendency to end up slipping in English or Hausa words for certain twi words and proverbs i sometimes forget when speaking with non-Muslim ghanaians. It gets embarassing
