So I'm sitting here watching The Rumble in the Jungle and damn I wish the heavyweight division was still this fun to watch. Sad what happened to it.

Anyways just looking for the must watch matches in history and what I should add to my playlist here. Drop some recommendations.

Two :flabbynsick:fights that aren't "good" fights but IMO are great youtube viewing:

Vs Randall "Tex" Cobb: Tex showed the toughest chin I've ever seen, Holmes absolutely batters him for 15 rounds but couldn't knock him out. It was so brutal Howard Cosell stopped calling fights after that one.

Vs. Gerry c00ney: Cac was hyped up to a ridiculous level, by the media, and Larry decided to have fun and fight as more of a counter puncher, like a young Orca tossing a seal around before devouring it. What really makes it entertaining is c00ney's Puerto Rican corner man, their dialogue in between rounds is :mjlol:

Cobb at his best was decent...I mean he outlasted and stopped shavers..gave Ken Norton, michael dokes, and buster Douglas all that they could handle without getting dropped. The cocaine and liquor eventually got to him though

c00ney is a big part of the cleanup that happened to the 60s-70s star heavies in the early 80s who were aging..and did it violently...that's what got him his hype...mentally wasn't strong though

Tua vs Ibeabuchi

That was legit one of the best HW fights I have ever seen. I think either one of them would have fukked up these nikkas AJ and Wilder.

Tua vs Ibeabuchi is an anomaly..usually when you see heavies fight like they did, you see damage, knockdowns, maybe even a KO...they didn't even show they were hurt :heh:..shyt I wished Femi vs Parker could have been like that:francis:

Bowe Holyfield trilogy has already been said. Especially that first fight, and listen to it with the sound up high.

Holyfield Tyson I is a must see. If you weren’t around you couldn’t understand the anticipation around this fight. Holyfield was a 25-1 underdog. I wonder if all the prefight press conferences with Tyson’s big mouth friend running his fat lips are on YouTube anywhere. Then Holyfield went to work that night and the Mighty South rose once more in triumph over them east coast punks. Then he did it again later that year just so them nikkas would be certain that it wasn’t no fluke.

Yeah Holyfield went to work with his head in both fights:mjlol:. If Tyson could've stayed composed in the 2nd fight we could've had another classic because he got angry and was given Holyfield some work/had him stunned.
