Simple enough. When you play, do you keep the music on or turn it off? I *always* turn it off if I can. Prefer the submersion. One of the craziest things about playing Nintendo was that I couldn't turn the music off. (I know it was gorgeous in Zelda, but I still would've turned it off if I could have.)

I only turn music off if I'm playing an online FPS or fighting games sometimes. That is the only time I prefer to listen to my own music. Otherwise, for a lot of modern games, you're removing part of the experience package.

Even if it's that melodramatic crescendo music like Skyrim or AssCreed?
Music's just never really bothered me in a game I guess. I Remeber good music in games but I can't really remember any that I felt was so bad that it made me want to turn it off :manny:

Depends on the game. Some games you need the music to fully experience the game. While other games it doesn't matter. I listened to a lot of podcasts and music while playing Pokemon or 2k.
