Sahara is an indy wrestler I’ve been following for a long time, but :gucci::gucci::gucci::gucci:

Excluding her deplorable attitute towards white men, I can see her point about Fox. But honestly after watching her on Woods youtube show, Belair is the prototype women of color should follow.

LMAO. Yeah right.

Alicia happened to be black. That's it. She didn't do anything for black girls.

She's a prototype "I'm not black, I'm OJ" type.

There's a difference between being black in an industry and championing for your people and just being black in an industry.

Just because the Coli militants didn't like her taste in men doesn't mean that Black girls all over the world didn't see somebody who looked like them and get excited about professional wrestling.

She was gorgeous (in her prime), a hell of an athlete, and had the best Northern Lights in the business.:yeshrug:

Just look at Cameron saying that she and Melina was the reason she got in the biz.

I'm sure she's not the only one.

There was a time when Foxy was the only black woman wrestling on tv period (well her and Layla) so I can see how she'd draw inspiration from some.

that's really all it takes.

she just-so-happened to be black and the WWE prolly always kept her character relevant. and that just-so-happened to be the time period that these jawns were getting into wrestling.

same way you got female wrestlers in general that's inspired by Trish stratus instead of the much better wrestlers who were around.

Trish was pushed pretty heavily, but she still did more than just exist in the WWE for 10 years.

She was gorgeous, but a terrible fukking wrestler who only had one or two somewhat prominent storylines. Utterly forgettable character overall.

She was no worst than any of the other Divas who got tons of championship runs & all kinds of TV time because they were blondes and Vince loves blondes.
