monk was never really one to hallucinate, sure he'd see trudy a few time in the series...but this was overkill...also tying it into suicidal thoughts? That's not very monk like at all...and that ending seeing all the dead people was kinda stupid.

Saw it last night also. Feel like it could've been better but I understand why they went in that direction especially with all that's been going on in the world & this year. It's a tough subject but one that's occurred more often than any other time in history so it's understandable they'd wanna talk about it.

One thing that did have me curious, and not sure if it could amount to anything was when the new chief told him about the 22 cases pending. Sounded like they were hinting at one more season but who knows. Maybe one that finally gives us a Monk and Psych crossover? Or one that sees Monk passing the torch to another detective leading to a spinoff? Who knows.
