Hey, I'm kinda new to the MPC, I'm using the 1000. I'm just trying to figure out how to play all sequences I've recorded at once? Thanks for the help!

Cause u know u layer beats and then you might wanna play all sequences at once. How would u go about that? I will probably figure out soon myself, but this would be a little quicker.

I don't know what you mean by play all the sequences at once. If you push play you can cycle through sequences like 1 then 4 then 2 and it will play like that. Or there is song mode where you can choose what sequences in what order you want then just push play am it will play your song.

If you mean play sequence 1 and 4 at the same time like overlapping that's not possible. But you can add say a different baseline or melody or drum pattern to say track 5 whereas the original is on track 2 then use track mute to turn on and off the different corresponding patterns. That's what's used in live shows with mpcs like if you want to kill the kick drums for a half a bar or full bar or 2 use the track mute, hit the pad that corresponds with the track and it'll drop out, push it again to bring it back @Roberto Dinero

Thanks for the help bro.

I figured out playing them one by one, that was easy. I just thought you could play em all at once overlapping but never mind. I have this old MPC that I got a long time ago and I'm considering selling to a friend. I thought before I do, I might try to work with it and see how it goes. So the next few days/couple of weeks I'll see if I'm interested enough to keep it, but thanks for the help anyway!

When you say old what do you mean? 1000? 2500? 2000 or 2000xl?

Hit Mode then Pad 16 for Song

It will let you arrange any of your sequences in any order for any number of repetitions

The 2 buttons you'll hit most are Mode and Main.

Mode and a pad to get into a new screen, Main to get out.

Thank you very much, sir. Much appreciated. Exactly the info I was looking for.

if you end up wanting to sell in the future i might be interested

Sorry, I already got a buyer lined up. Its an old friend of mine. He will give me a PS4 in exchange for the MPC so it looks like a good deal to me.
