Future Movement bloc MP Khaled Daher accused Hezbollah of being involved in the twin explosions that targeted two mosques in the city of Tripoli in north Lebanon.
“The series of explosions do not need investigators in order to reveal the identity of the real terrorist enemy harming the Lebanese and dragging the country to the infernal furnace of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei,” Daher told Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa.

“The fingerprints of Hezbollah are clear in the Tripoli explosions, which Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made clear in his latest speech,” he added.

Daher also said that the problem in Lebanon is not sectarian, “it is political par excellence.”

“ Iran is constantly attempting to harm the security in Lebanon, as well as the security in all the Arab countries, and this is what Hezbollah is trying to hide by claiming the presence of Sunni takfiris and by planting explosives even in its own environment Dahiyeh in order to confirm its theory,” the MP added.

Two explosions explosions rocked the city of Tripoli last Friday , one targeted the Al-Taqwa Mosque in the city’s Al-Zahiriya area and the other the Al-Salam Mosque in the Al-Mina neighborhood leaving over 40 dead and 900 injured .

Also, a car bomb went off last week in the Al-Rueiss a area of Hezbollah’s Beirut stronghold of Dahieh, leaving 27 people dead and at least 336 injured.

Hezbollah is a key Damascus backer and has sent fighters into Syria to support President Bashar al-Assad in his regime’s bid to crush a 29-month rebellion.

Fighters of Hezbollah played a key role in the government’s recapture in June of the rebel bastion of Qusayr, near the Lebanese border.

oh, this Saudi funded and controlled militia that's been riling up sectarian passions in Lebanon points the finger at Hezbollah. any more credible sources you'd like to share? what's Bibi's thoughts on the bombing?
Maybe I should take Iran/Syria/Hizbullah's views over everyone else?
I was listening to BBC last night and I actually hadn't heard about the bombing in Tripoli till then. All evidence points to Hizbullah. A key Hizbullah supporter was murdered in Tripoli the previous day. Obviously a Sunni cell has bombed Hizbullah Suburbs twice in recent months in Beirut. It is, what it is.

so two Sunnis from some obscure Muslim Brotherhood offshoot get arrested, but let's go ahead and blame Hezbollah anyway.

You mad, bro?

"Affiliate to the Syrian regime-backed Baath Party and had recently paid several visits to Syria. Gharib was studying Islam in Syria but then quit and became a staunch supporter of the Assad regime".

"Both sheikhs are members of the Tripoli-based Islamic Tawheed Movement, a pro-Syrian regime group headed by Hashem Minkara".
