Can't say I ever hated a movie and then grown to love it, but there's a few movies where I didn't notice their greatness until repeat viewings.

Examples

Dawn of the Dead (1978.. pains me that I have to specify which version I'm talking about. :pacspit: at the remake)

Shaun of the Dead

Slap Shot

Mallrats

Man the bluray version makes you appreciate it even more..yes some of the screenplay was cliche n corny but the visuals were stunning..it doesnt look like a 90's movie at all.

Patch Adams when I was like 8-10 I was wondering why goofball Robin Williams was being all serious n shyt n where the fukk was his clown nose :damn: Fell asleep on it and thought it was too long, didn't wanna see it again

Now :wow: :mindblown:

He just wanted to do shyt his way but he kept getting hated on. His own roommate thought he was an a$$hole. And when he got his clinic off the ground only for the chick he loved to die on an outcall, man that fukked me up. I knew as soon as she walked in she wasn't walking out. I couldn't blame him for wanting to give it all up and blaming himself for her death. Dope flick.

titanic is just too sad/long to have a lot of repeat viewings.

I didn't really like 2001 when I first watched it, now it has me :mindblown:

Lost in Translation

saw it when I was a young'n, thought it was boring as hell and didn't understand all the awards hype it was getting

rewatched it for a film class I was taking and I loved the atmosphere/mood it creates

The Watchmen, I knew nothing of the backstory or comics whatever.

Went into it expecting an action packed super hero movie and got 3 hours of me falling to sleep off and on and I had a date with me.

Bought the shyt on blu ray because I was just buying blu rays at the time and finally got it. I have watched it no less than 20 times since.
