Seven ending was good opposed to how they wanted to end it. I read the studio thought the head in a box scene was too graphic and they didnt want to use it but brad Pitt threatened to walk out or something demanding they put it in.

The alternate ending of Die Hard with a Vengeance is probably even more anti climatic than the ending they used, but it definitely would've been a more personal ending, plus one that shows a darker side to McClane's character.
