The recent Enter the Fat Dragon with Donnie Yen. Slapstick comedy and kung fu rarely work for me so it was a surprise when that one didn't suck.... And above all the fights were nice too :ehh:

Punch-Drunk Love. Before I was familiar with PTA’s work, my expectations were already lowered since I thought it was your typical run of the mill romantic-comedy starring Adam Sandler. Man, was I wrong.

It’s still a romance in a lot of aspects, but I liked the different ways it played with the main character’s anxiety. The sound design and atmosphere of it all took me by surprise. Now it’s one of my favorite films.

The Woman In Black

I’m usually not impressed by PG13 horror films, but this was good, and had some legit creepy moments, like when he was alone in the house, and the the rocking chair was rocking, and that entire scene.

:ehh::ehh:

Dungeons and Dragons - we were bored and this was the only new movie that was out in the theaters. Plus it had Marlon Wayans in it. The first 30 minutes was waaaaay better than expected. Then Marlon died and it turned into just an average movie, but better than I thought it was going to be

Forrest Gump - me and my mom was just having a quality time day and went to the movies and picked this randomly - neither of us had heard of the book or knew anything about the movie, it might have been the first or second weekend before WOM got out about it - it was such an amazing story tho. I love that movie til this day
