You got one of the main people behind star wars and indiana jones writing and directing.

Morgan freeman
Timothy olyphant
Thomas jane
Jason Lee
Damien lewis
Tom sizemore
Donnie wahlberg

And it had a 70 million budget.

But the book it was based off was one of stephen kings worst. It was like a mish mash of old books thrown together for a cheque.

that movie 43 flick had an unusual amount of recognizable names for a movie that looked like.. that.

I came in here to post about Movie 43. I haven't seen it to be honest but I have seen it's spiritual predecessor "The Ten". fukking terrible ass movie. It fits in with the thread.

If it were anything like that then I would be severely disappointed but not at all surprised because I could only see that movie when I saw Move 43 coming out.

The trailer is still dope to me though

Anchorman 2 was pretty bad and so was The Counselor & Now You See Me. And I still don't understand what made Morgan Freeman and Scarlett Jo sign on to Lucy.

Anchorman 2 was a sequel to one of the biggest comedies of recent times. It's more of surprise how bad it is than how much talent was involved.

Same goes for The Counselor. The first official screenplay by famed novelist Cormac McCarthy was bound to attract big names, it's more surprising how badly they fukked it all up.

Haven't seen Now You See Me since it always looked like trash.

Lucy was directed by Luc Besson, whose track record is hit & miss quality-wise but very solid regarding financial success.

Anchorman 2 shocked me how bad it was.

The first is a classic. I figured they would have only done another if they had really got a good script for it. But they just repeated all the jokes from the first film.
