Yes I know it's way to early but if his fitness issues continue, He's heading towards a disappointing career

My question is
Does everyone here still hold that view today.

Also are there any skeptic here who never bought into zion has a guaranteed future HOF

I just could not predict he would let himself go so fast. He was big as a rookie but you can tell dude was mostly muscle but now homeboy is truly fat. At this point, he lacks work ethic and discipline. He will still put numbers on the court due to his natural talent but he might have hit his ceiling his rookie seasons. Another Ben Simmons due to lack of taking work seriously.

Was never a believer. At his best, he could be a perennial All-Star for a decade, give or take. That's his ceiling to me, and he's young enough he could still reach that potential...

I don't and never have seen him as a transcendent player or a lock Famer. He just doesn't have that impact on winning to be spoken of in a "transcendent" light, his basketball IQ is mediocre, he socks defensively, and while dominant from 3 feet in he has no offensive impact aside from that. Mediocre rebounder given his athleticism and size...

Dude was always overrated. Of course if he returns to form his Stans will be chirping again but until this dude rounds his game out and starts effecting winning demonstrably, he'll always be more hype than substance...

I still believe Zion will have a great career, but it was weird watching him last year and thinking at 20 years old he already lost so much bounce.
He won't be the transcendent player many that he would become when he was drafted.

Not unless he loses weight. It only goes downhill from here.

Dude only had hops but the older he gets with that weight, those hops go away.

He has to develop his game to be a shooter or just a Dennis Rodman type as a defensive stopper.

He is not lebron nor the second coming of lebron like espn wanted everyone to believe
