If you notice...there are more young interracial couples. Highschool/College age. But when young adults hit their mid twenties, they throw that experimenting in the bushes and find someone of their own race.

How many people in interracial relationships from your highschool or college are now in a same race relationship?

actually, i saw less interracial relationships when i was younger compared to now. it could be a phase for some but i don't think that's quantifiable anyway, that's more of an opinion...

Sociologically speaking this makes a lot of sense. This is more of an anecdotal opinion than a quantifiably proven one, but the theory that white women in particular date black men during their school years because we're "fun", yet regress back to intra-racial dating when its time to start a fam and get serious seems a sound one.

It depends where you live, in my area I would guess that mixed relationships are more common than same race relationships but it is a poor mixed area in the UK and in those communities this is normal.
