All Star
This scene alone forced me to ask for the DBZ Android Saga DVD Box set for Xmas from my mom when I was 12 or 13. It was the most brutal death I had ever seen in the series.
The lack of emotion from the Androids
That theme music that made your skin crawl
The feeling of your life force fading slowly while being surrounded by flames with no help in sight
And then that metallic hand piercing right throw you stomach breaking your ribs and your spine
Dying alone... slowly... denied the privilege to even scream out in agony....
I know it was just Yamcha but that death was one of the hardest things to watch in the whole series to me.
It was actually very well put together and gave a meaningless character and very meaningful death.
After experiencing something like that. I don't blame Yamcha for giving up martial arts and staying his ass at home and letting Goku and Vegeta take care of things.
I'm sure there are plenty other brutal deaths and injuries in the series but this one was #1 by far for me.
