Genesis had the best port at the time outside of Arcade bro.
Outside of Mario World (which really wasn't better than Mario 3) and Donkey Kong country .....Sega heads was eating better than SNES heads at the time bro. If you owned a NES and Mario 3 then you pretty much knew what to expect with Mario World.
There wasn't anything like Sonic that you could have experienced on any other console at the time.
I feel sorry for any SNES head who didn't get to experience Sonic 1-3 +Sonic & Knuckles + Streets of Rage series as a kid.
Streets of Rage 2 = top 5 game of all time imo, right up there with MGS3 and UC2

Yes mortal combat 1 on genesis was way better then the snes version. But the rest of them were better on snes. Mortal combat 2 on genesis was shytty
