Mortal Kombat 2 hasn't been confirmed for a 2024 release date, but it definitely seems possible, with the film wrapping shooting in January 2024.

the fight scenes help hold it down as an entertaining action flick tbh. Besides that, the pacing and story are pretty stupid

Watched the first one, thought it was so-so, I'll watch the second one too with low expectations.

FWIW, they should've turned MK into a well fleshed-out TV series. Really do the characters and story-building justice, easily give yourself 4-5 seasons.
