Man, I’m glad I don’t ride the rollercoaster some of you do. I assume going from worst to first might take a while. I’m down to give Monty more than 10% of the season before I pass judgement.

I’d be willing to bet this team will gel and finish the season strong.

I'm not on a rollercoaster at all. I know this will take awhile but I also didn't expect to see them get Cade back get a top 5 pick and end up coming out of the gate worse either.

I had no expectations. And they aren’t as bad as their record.

Once I saw Ivey wasn’t a lock in the starting lineup I knew he was going to coach based on principle. I can’t say I’m mad at it either. The wins will come. These guys aren’t great but they aren’t the worse team in franchise history. This tweet is pointless

Obviously what he did wasn’t that bad considering the information never got fully out there and the police wasn’t involved. Pistons and every other team with a coaching vacancy this off season dropped the ball.

I wouldn’t write him off in his first year. Monty is proven in this league. I don’t know what people expected when they didn’t really make any splashes in free agency. The biggest roster improvement they expect to make is always in the draft. No 19 year old is going to come in and turn around the youngest and least talented roster in the league.

They didn’t drop the ball. Houston just didn’t let Ime leave Houston once he arrived for the interview. Ime had other coaching interviews lined up, but Houston liked what they saw and heard in the interview.

Monte, Ime, and Nurse were the top 3 coaching candidates out this summer and Psitons secured one of them.
